
January-February 2023 - We have not yet finalized our 2023 schedule of mini-workshops, topics, and challenges, but have the following update.

UPDATE:
February 18, 2023 Meeting is online and includes a MINI-WORKSHOP –Creating your own Master Story Project Bible or Master Story Worksheets, DISCUSSION TOPIC is open to anything writing related or the writing life. There will be word and writing challenges and sharing of movie reviews (for their storytelling/plot aspects).
March 18, 2023 IN PERSON MEETING at the Mercer Library, Mercer PA from 1-4 p.m. Guests welcome. Meeting includes: BOOK REVIEW: Donald Maass’s The Emotional Craft of Fiction, DISCUSSION TOPIC is Why is it hard to write emotions onto the page? There will be word and writing challenges and sharing of movie reviews (for their storytelling/plot aspects).
April 22, 2023 IN PERSON MEETING at the Cochranton Library, Cochranton PA from 1-4 p.m. Guests welcome. In celebration of National Poetry Month, we will be discussing poetry and having a Poetry Postcard Event. There will be word and writing challenges and sharing of movie reviews (for their storytelling/plot aspects).
In 2023 we will have guest authors, do more craft book reviews, mini-workshops.
Our group focuses on learning the techniques and devices of writing good fiction and nonfiction.
